Although there is no evidence at all, it is a nice thought that one/some of the Vivaldi concerts could be written for S.L.Weiss ;-). At least Vivaldi had a good connection to the Dresden court. Pisendel was his composition pupil and Vivaldi dedictated many Violin concerts to him.
