Ed, Sterling, Roman,

Y'all are totally nuts. Hitting the right strings is difficult, but only a
bare beginning. The right hand must negotiate so many changes of position that
achieving consistent control over tone, articulation and phrasing on a baroque
lute is the work of a lifetime.
