DEUTSCH DAS KLAGENFURTER LAUTENBUCH
Dieses als Faksimile publizierte zweiteilige Manuskript stellt mit
seinen 75 Stücken (viele davon sind Unika, also bislang unveröffentlicht!)
eine für das 18. Jahrhundert typische Literatursammlung für den adeligen
Spielbedarf aus dem Umfeld des Kaiserhofes in Wien nach 1700 dar.
Es enthält ebenso einige instruktive technische Übungen.
Sein Fundort, das Kärntner Landesarchiv in Klagenfurt, Österreich,
rückt dieses von professionellen Kopisten der Zeit zusammengefügte Spielbuch
in die Nähe der umfangreichen Tabulatur-Bestände der Adelsfamile Goess
auf Schloß Ebenthal bei Klagenfurt. Deren umfangreiche Tabulaturbestände
ergänzt es stilistisch auf das Glücklichste und stellt damit eine
willkommene Repertoire-Ergänzung dar, voller attraktiver Kompositionen
von Hinterleitner über Losy und Biechteler bis hinüber zum reichhaltigen
Repertoire-Fundus der Goess Manuskripte.
Für die Ausgabe des "Klagenfurt Lautenbuch" A-Kla 5/37 hat
Hubert Hoffmann, Wien, eine kurze Einführung und Beschreibung
des Manuskriptes erstellt sowie die bislang bekannten Konkordanzen
zu anderen Drucken und Manuskripten aus dem habsburgisch verwalteten
Kulturraum zusammengestellt.

ENGLISH THE KLAGENFURT LUTE BOOK
This is a facsimile of a two-part manuscript that provides 75
pieces for
Baroque Lute (many of which are are unique specimens, so far unpublished!)
It is a typical collection of the 18th century literature for the
noble luteplayers at the environment of the imperial court in Vienna
after 1700. It also contains some instructive technical exercises.
Its present location, the Carinthian State Archives in
Klagenfurt, Austria, put these manuscripts, assembled by a professional
copyist, into the near of the extensive tablature stock of the noble
family Goess at Castle Ebenthal near Klagenfurt. It completes their
extensive collection of lute music stylistically in the most positive way
and thus provides a welcome addition to the repertoire, full of attractive
compositions from Hinterleitner over Losy and Biechteler across to the rich
repertoire of the Goess manuscripts fundus.
For the "Klagenfurt Lautenbuch" A-Kla 5/37 Hubert Hoffmann from Vienna
has created an introduction and description of the manuscript and has put
together the previously known concordances to other prints and manuscripts
from the Habsburg managed cultural area.
