It's only one chord different from the Antico (Opening chord Romanesca: III ; Opening chord Antico: i) and often appears as an Antico alternate in many sources. Compare the Dalza with the Valderabano Romanesca for similarity. Libro 7 f97. Apparently the Romanesca predates the Antico, at least in printed sources.
