Hey, hey, where I ever told that? Of course, I like it since it's a
long ago wanted feature for most of people. But unfortunately, there is
lesser part of people who want it to be done another way. I'm much sorry
if I offended you. It was just a bit unpleasant surprise for me when that
behavior went into master branch without backward compatibility (I mean:
having it optional). And I was offended by that enforcement which makes
this nice applet unusable for me. Fortunately I haven't upgraded to it so
no need to downgrade yet. And I still hope you will make a small option
in the config to use setxkbmap or not. :)

No, I never asked for access to lxpanel git. To fix all that bugs and
feature requests in the libfm/pcmanfm to satisfy all people needs is more
than enough for me.
