Actually, the latest version of blat.exe does not work with the
USE_BLAT_MAILER version of lynx.exe. I tried constructing the call
that results and executing it at the command line with the latest
blat, and I got an error message. The "@c:\temp\blah.blat" response
file no longer works. And then, there is still the problem of blat
inserting a blank line.
With all the confusion in LYMail.c, I wish someone would rewrite it
so that LYMail.c invokes the smtp protocol directly. The Linux
textbook I have describes doing smtp using telnet to port 25 of the
smtp.your.net, and it is very simple. Using quirky mailers from
all of lynx's operating systems just makes no sense.
