I'm aware of that - but spent a half hour a few weeks ago w/o getting it
to build.  (and as I noted, using the configure script doesn't work ;-)

But as I indicated, if I'm not swamped by feature changes during pre-release,
I'll have some time to resolve this sort of thing.
