Either solution is fine with me. I don't think we'll come accross this
issue anyway: The user will soon realize that he cannot open the file
with LyX-1.4 anyway. But if you insist, maybe you should just increment
the file format and put a simple message in lyx2lyx explaining that a
Farsi document cannot be converted previous to this format.

Abdel, what do you think? I trust you judgment in the issue, if the code is
OK with you it can go.
The patch is safe for non RTL users and Dov confirmed that he saw no
artefact with it (even if he cannot reproduce the bug). So I think this
can go in. Please add a comment in the code explaining the issue and
pointing to this discussion.
