This is easy to handle. My problem was only to know, which po to handle.
I do like the file LINGUAS. (The handling of LINGUAS is part of my change, so 
reverting everything is not ok)

Removing handling of installed_translations is a 2 lines delete, so I do not 
oppose any more. Still it does not harm,
even if not used. (Info for the end-user?)
