No, I do *not* have it. I made the different tests for the current user and all users seperately after uninstalling everything that has to do with Aspell. Then at first I made the correct installation of LyX for the correct amount of users. Then I installed the dictioaries. Result: current user OK, all users not.

I know, you wrote it several times. But the problem is: there is not any Aspell stuff before the installing for the next test. I precisely followed your description in several mails. Thats the thing. > Maybe something else was wrong. Yes, but what is it? Under Windows there is *always* something else wrong. ;-) And sureley you are *in any case* the first one, who has *this* specific problem ;-)). > All dictionaries just have their own > files, you can install them in any order you like. Yes, that is what I assume. But in this version it seems as if it is not correct. At first, after deleting the dicts, I deinstalled *everything*, even MikTeX, and ImageMagick, etc., although this is perhaps not necessary. Than making the test for all users: flop. Deinstalling everything. Making the test for the current user: Hooray. Deinstalling everything. Installing for current user, but installing the German dict first: Flop. The dict was found, but it wants to improve every word. Installing the English dict afterwards: Flop. Nothing changes. Repeating again the other way round: Hooray. Deinstalling everything. Installing new for all users: Flop, .... You see, that was my beautiful Sunday yesterday (and my dreams were *very* far away) ;-)) Heiko > > Joost -- Heiko Schroeder Praha, Ceska Republica http://home.foni.net/~heikos http://www.od.shuttle.de/evb-1
