Hey, that's great news!

I've checked wiki (http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/NewInLyX20#toc7) and it
looks it's worth to try out 2.0alpha.

Otoh, based on the info from ConTexT camp, LuaTeX is already in use
and, iirc, it's part of TeXLive as well, so bringing it to LyX soon
would be great as well.
