Not sure exactly what I get out of the Eneloops. Seems comparable to Alkalines. I go back and forth between batteries and the wall wart. Maybe others have done careful tests.
A feature of the Eneloops is they don't lose their charge sitting around. So you can always have a set on the shelf, charged up, ready to go. -- John.
