Hi Mike, If you haven't yet purchased FutureTap's "Where To? -- Discover your next destination" app, it's on sale now for Valentine's Day. This will supply points of interests for all your destinations in Europe and the US, sorted by distance from your current location (or a location or address that you specify -- which can be selected from your Address Book). Results can be sent to GPS apps that can give turn by turn instructions (Navigon, TomTom, MotionX GPS Drive, Sygic, or the Maps app), or you can use the updating direction and distance feature in the app to monitor your travel towards a POI.
