Glenn, the new iPad has the exact same processor as the newest iPhone. Same for the new mini. So how can you say it's processor is any worse? Plus it gets excellent battery life, better than the iPhone. Yes it is larger. But especially for the mini, it's not that big a deal. If you use your device a lot a single iPhone won't cut it. That is, unless you want to carry around some kind of external battery. Talk about the hassle. I love the iPhone. But since I use my iOS devices for so much, I'm very grateful to have the iPad mini. If I didn't want a phone, I would probably just have a mini if I can only have one device. Mary
