    I just pleasantly experienced this as well:  I ordered a refurbished
Handspring Visor Deluxe direct from the company last week, and Handspring
charged just the additional GST to my order. Within five days (three of
which to process the order) I had it in my hands via Purolator, with no
additional duty or hassle. Probably the best deal I got all year (they also
threw in free shipping ).

    BTW, if you're looking for a PDA to go with your Mac, the Handspring is
definitely the way to go. I had the Mac and Visor up and talking to each
other within minutes of installing the software and re-booting (it comes
with a USB cradle and Palm Desktop software)
