MacWarehouse is listing several (4-5) DSL *modems* on their website and - alas - it's the first time that I've noticed broadband modems available at retail in Canada. About time.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations (yet), good or bad experiences, recommendations for a good ISP that allows us to use our own modem and with a static IP, since Sympatico allows neither, and while I'm asking, any suggestions at all on jumping to wireless (routers and cards). What hardware is everyone using?
