On three different machines. It must be a skill. Most of mine have been USB related. 10.0 and 10.1 had a distinct (and well documented) hatred of USB Audio devices, of which I have one. It used to scream and die every time i unplugged it, and occasionally when I played stuff over it too. Early versions of 10.2 used to get a bit pouty about unplugging USB devices at inappropriate moments. Many a time I have crashed machines by waking them up in order to pull out my USB key and pulling it out too soon. The most recent one I had was in 10.3.7. Unplugged my phone from it's USB sync lead (come on Apple get Bluetooth to Motorola phones sorted!) and the iMac fell over. I've had 1 out of 10.3.x when it wasn't USB related. I used to get a couple of graphics related ones in 10.1 and 10.2. Obviously they were all over the place in 10.0 but that was only expected ;o) -- Mark Benson http://homepage.mac.com/markbenson -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
