I've got a few of those - fortunately they're for unimportant contacts so I tend to just ignore them. >I have often wished there was a way that you could get to the end of >the year or second year and just "tear off" the bottom end of the diary >for storage somewhere as an rtf export. I'm glad I'm not the only one :-) I have 4 main calendars and I'm wondering now whether I should have created a new copy of each for 2005 and 'de-activated' the 2004 ones. The only problem would be having to duplicate any repeating items that needed to carry over into the new year. Syncing wouldn't be any quicker either I guess. >I have started using viJournal for my work records and, >though there was a slight blip when I updated to 10.3.8 it seems to be >a more sensible way of keeping such important information. Hmmm...I don't have too much in my iCal that you couldn't call appointments or to-do items (the latter is so long now, and keeps showing the least important items first, that I've started ignoring it). I'll have to do another purge and see if I can move anything else out of it.
