I see a lot of people swearing by the original series iBooks (if you are a
colourful type) as they were good to write with due to the form factor and
can be usefully upgraded in terms of HD, optical drive, RAM and run OS X
reasonably well (considering)...I'm just not sure if they are at that price
level? It is worth mentioning that only some of them come with Firewire and
the monitor resolution is quite limited, so depending on your needs this
could be important to know.
