Why not just upgrade the Mac OS? Most reports reckon Panther and Tiger run faster on older Macs. I have a G4 Jaguar installer disk that I would sell for not a lot - don't know if it works with older G4s? - But Panther made Jaguar seem crippled in my humble opinion. Tiger is OK but I havent got to like spotlight at all yet and dashboard is a gimmicky bit of 'fun' mostly. I have a friend who runs Panther on an iMac similar to yours without any problems. all the best Brian
