Even if it's possible you should really upgrade OS X as 10.1 is
really a beta and not worth hanging onto. If you qualify you can get
the latest version, 10.4, for only £50 at Apple's Education store,
otherwise you should be able to get at least 10.2 on eBay for very
little money:
