A few months ago I dabbled with Skype and now I've got the opportunity to use it again for real. Unfortunately whereas before I was able to use my iBook's built in microphone (which worked really well), with that computer out-of-action (and Apple ignoring my complaints) I've got to move Skype over to my Mac mini. Plantronics DSP400 headset. It's Skype approved and comes with 120 free SkypeOut minutes (actually it's 2.00 Euros - 120mins for areas which only cos 0.012c/min). Only problem is it's about £60 but it is a very very nice headset. I've had no-end of comments from Skype users at how good my mic sounds since I got it :o).
