The sound quality for calls is fine, length of the cable fine, and their comfortable. The one problem I have is with actually getting sound out of them. For some reason when I switch to the logitech headset in the sound panel of system preferences the don't work until I mute and unmute them! So even though Skype can automatically use the headset I still have to faff with system prefs before making a call. Not ideal.

I have exactly the same problem. It has spoilt the use of Skype for me. I'm considering a USB handset as I don't like phoning using a stereo headset but there's not a lot of choice for Mac users at present.

If anyone knows of a good value Mac handset suitable for Skype please let me know.
