I would suggest that you will not know until you put a wireless router/modem
in place (regardless of brand) but it may be wise to see if the item of your
choice allows for additional units to be included in the network later to
bridge the weak spots...For example the AEBS can be used as the real base
station and then one or more Airport Extremes added as needed if the range
does not quite make it to the farther reaches of the house...as a bonus you
can listen to music remotely as well or hook up a printer...Other
manufacturers will no doubt have similar options for their range of
products...it may help to know that if the signal is weak in some parts of
the house then the speed will also reduce as well...from 54 down to 11 for
example...Going wireless is worth it though and once you have one base
station, you can always add others as needed and budget allows...
