Hello Wilf.
Just to say that I found a copy of Office Pro for myself, on eBay,
for a lot less than the price you mentioned. If you do look there, be
careful to avoid the educational copies, as there may be issues
regarding entitlement to use - unless you qualify, of course.
Regards
Susan

Hi All,
I'll soon, well in the New Year, be buying an iMac and am
considering getting Office Pro that comes with Virtual PC.
The reason I'm considering this is that I have a number of bits n
bobs that are PC only and currently I use my work PC, e.g. my Sony
Minidisc (yes I know I should get an iPod:-) and also my mobile
phone's docking station.
So, the question is if any one would recommend Virtual PC for such
tasks and if they've had any experience of using Virtual PC to then
run the bits of software I've mentioned?
The other question, sorry - taking advantage, is that I already
have an old copy of Office and was wondering if the £390+ price tag
for Office Professional could not be better spent on a cheap as
chips PC laptop already with Windows XP?
Any views are helpful especially as this would be my first dip into
the dark side!
