thanks for your vision. I like it, because it is exactly how I want
to see the Mac port going to the future. Thanks again!
1. Mac port is not a project. It is a subproject of the
development project (porting).
I thought the porting project was a sub-project of the big project
OpenOffice.org.
porting is accepted project of OpenOffice.org. If we want to have Mac
port as accepted project as well, we have to go through Incubator
first. I'm not decided if we should go that way at all. I think it is
not needed.
2. even if it is, the usual way is to vote on candidates, if they
agree to be candidates..
I'm happy to be a candidate.
Do we have other candidates? Or do others just ignore this important
change and take what Eric said as a fact?
Do you understand why I rush about this at all even if I agree on
Shaun's vision? Do you understand me?
Or am I the only one?
