This has nothing to do with my respect for your work for the mac port, which I regard as really essential for all the progress which has been made. But: Results are just one thing - procedures another. An so even if all are happy with the result, at least some are not with the procedure. No matter if you decided to remove the links to NeoOffice or if you decide who the next project lead will be: The procedure you choose is the problem - not the result. And my discomfort with your "management style" has been clearly expressed by myself long time ago on this list - and this second mail below I could post with just minor adjustments again right now (just grinning while reading it again). http://porting.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=mac&msgNo=1551 http://porting.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=mac&msgNo=1600 > When Eric Hoch Florian Heckl and me started the Macport, we started from > nowhere, nothing was existing, and the most important value was the > respect. > > I see things changed a lot. Not yet. Not really. Even your sensibility on criticism stayed the same ;-) Thanks for all your work, good luck for your plans and I hope you'll stay with us in the project! -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Uwe Altmann OpenOffice.org auf dem Mac: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
