Jerry,
O.K., I know how to empty the caches and delete the cookies but the
com.apple.Safari.plist is a new adventure for me. When I spotlight
com.apple.Safari.plist, it says that it is located in the "root." Now I'm
scared. I've seen many e-mails go across this forum talking about the "root"
and it seems like you can really screw up your computer when you enter this
black hole.
I don't know where the "root" is and I'm scared that if I delete the
wrong thing my Mac will go brain-dead and become a PC. Can you walk me
through this surgery?

Greg
