Lee:

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Cannon 8800F from MacAuthority
which cost about $240 including tax, I do not know if it can be
networked or not, but otherwise it seems to be a pretty fair scanner
and comes with some pretty nice software including a light version
of Omni Page, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Photo Studio. It works
with a removable white pad back, which snaps off for film holders and
vice versa. The film holders are pretty fragile looking, but I
haven't broken them yet, even though I am pretty clumsy. All in all,
I like it better than the HP I was previously using,

Hmmmmmmm...

I've poked around the Fujitsu site and can't find any network-capable
scanners except the Fi-6000NS, which is about $2000. I wasn't
planning to spend quite that much.
