I think you're right about impending mother board failure. I've  
noticed that the fan runs alot more often lately than it used to. But  
I did notice an odd thing when I ran disk repair--it said  "ACL found  
in library and not expected." Does anyone know what that means? I've  
wondered if I should try running fsck but read in the help file that I  
shouldn't have to. thanks again for suggestions--Ben Zion Hershberg
