Aloha-anyone have info on which generation mac mini has proved to b reliable? I am looking on Ebay and the price is all over the park. Any ideas will be appreciated.

I have had a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo Mini at home since late 2006. It has a lot of mileage on it, and I've never had a problem with it. Everyone in the house uses it for writing, emailing, Webbing and just about anything else you can imagine, so it's being constantly used. The only changes I've made to the machine are to put as much RAM as I could into it and I replaced the original internal 80G hard drive with a 350G model.

I'm extremely satisfied with it and plan to get another Mini when this one needs replacing.

Used Intel Minis are hard to buy because they make such great home theater systems.
