Missed the first "shot" at this, but will add my 2c. LocalTalk Bridge can't do anything for _Serial_ devices. They must be LocalTalk capable (usually these would be laser printers with "NT" in the name or otherwise specially equipped with a LocalTalk card. The "bridge" should be able to allow you to see a serial Mac (a compact or such) from a third ethernet Mac via the Mac "hosting" LocalTalk Bridge. >I don't seem to be any further ahead than I was before. I think what you want to do (use both printers from either Mac) is a bit of a challenge. If you use PhoneNet devices to connect the Macs using their Modem Ports and connect the printers via the Printer Ports, then setting the Printers to be "shared" you should be able to do what you want.
