Hello again Networkers:

I _do_ have AppleTalk set to ethernet, and I can share files from the 950 to
7100 just fine, as I wrote before. The issue is the printers and DuoDock on
the PhoneNet AppleTalk network plugged into the 950's printer port.

running OT on your 950 right?

I am running OT, version 1.1.1. I never got as far as seeing if the printers
were available to the 7100, because they're not available to the 950 as long
as AT is set to ethernet.

Does this mean, then, that there is no solution that will allow my Quadra 950
to talk both to the printers and the 7100 at the same time without a print
server? That seems like a pretty glaring design oversight!

Thanks,
