Okay fellow list members I took every ones advice, got rid of MacPoET and used the router to do the PPPOE or DHCP hook up for the Powerbook, got an IP address in the TCP/IP Control Panel and I am still having trouble connecting to the Internet. Hello Brad.

I 'm not an expert - but that notice usually comes up when you have that address typed in your address box on your web browser page. See if you can delete it from the page and put in what you want to connect . WWW.yada.com comes up as a legitimate url for me.
