Brad,
I'm still not sure of how you've configured your router. It sounds like you're doing the PPPoE in the individual computers and using the router as a simple hub. Have you logged into the router to set it up?
Can you confirm for me whether I'm understanding that correctly?

The way it should be configured is:

A) Router connects using PPPoE (needs to be set up in the configuration page of the router)
B) Computers DO NOT use PPPoE, they connect to the router which "routes" their requests to the internet. They use DHCP to find the router (called gateway in the configs) which then gives them all the settings they need.

Again, let me stress, you shouldn't be using PPPoE on the computers at all, only the router needs to know about that.

Let me know the answers to my these questions and the ones in my previous post, I'm sure we can get you running.
Did you properly configure the PPPoE on the Linksys?
On the Linksys there is a Status tab that let's you know if it's connected or not. What does it say?

Hey Joe thank you for your response to my query. I happen to have a windows
PC running windows2000 connected to the router and a Beige G3 running OS 10.2.6
with 512mb of ram which has no problem connecting via PPPoE. The Pwrbk gets
an IP address, but it can't connect to any web page. It has no set up for PPPoE
in the TCP/IP control panel in OS 9.1. I'm at my wits end here. Perhaps I'll
have to try a wireless access point because I've had the Pwrbk connect to the
web via wireless card.
