Not sure if anyone addressed this issue but are you sure the router is connecting to the internet? Did you properly configure the PPPoE on the Linksys? On the Linksys there is a Status tab that let's you know if it's connected or not.
Are you using any other computers on the router that successfully get out?

No matter what page address I type into my browser address box the above
mentioned dialogue comes what, I can't connect to any web page.
