Yes, although I trust none of them enough to give up my own IMAP server for them. But: Trusting Apple, with its not exactly stellar history of long-term data services is one thing. Trusting Google, which has years and years of reputation hosting services and email even for companies, universities and government institutions is another. And you can even use your own domain with it. And you can share calendars everywhere. What's better with iCloud is the much easier setup.
