I do not use FaceTime nor iMessages on the Mac but the place I would look would 
be in the preferences of each of the Apps. Have you looked there? You can 
normally find these by bringing up the menu bar and looking under the App name 
menu and then preferences.   
alternatively pressing command comma should achieve the same result.
A quick look at FaceTime preferences showed that there was a section to enter 
the Appel ID.
