Why not use the Win7 PE Disk?
It has NVDA, and talks you through the install.
it even contains setup files for all the Windows 7 installs.
you will need a USB sound card to hear NVDA while installing Windows 7.

the unattended xlm file route doesn't work for seven for me as it
totally erased my drive by default. That option worked great for
installing win xp via bootcamp but I take it that is no longer an
option for windows seven or later?

Both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 work well.
Running Windows 7 myself but did utilise Windows 8.1 on my old clasic
MacBook Pro for about 16 months. ( I believe the new MacBook Pros and the
MacBook only support Windows 8 or 8.1 happy to be corrected on this point
however).
Of course another option is to wait until Microsoft takes the wrappings off
Windows 10.
The official date of release is July 29.
What ever option you choose it'll be a great experience!
