Hi Donna,et al, No I have them connected to my iPhone 7+ but although they show in my iPad mini 4’s blutetooth devices they do not automatically pair when I want them working with my iPad.
However if I double tap the pods when in my iPads Bluetooth they start pairing and disconnect from my iPhone As for my watch, unless I turn my iPhone off they wont pair with my watch I have to manually pair with that also but as I said it only works when my phone is off or out of range of the watch. Apple didn’t have an answer for that when I asked them. What I've read online suggests that they automatically figure out which device you are using, and pair with that device. Sounds like I may need to give a call to Apple support. I'll keep you posted. Otherwise, I can see walking around the house with an iPhone, and Apple Watch, going to my iPad, and have them switch to my Mac.! :-) Let's keep in touch as we work this out. If that's the way they're supposed to work, that's fine, but I thought they could switch without the user having to manually go in and tell them to. I have not been able to get them to play with either my watch or my Mac. How do I do this? TIA, Donna -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
