Hi, A problem with the method I mentioned is that it will make a duplicate copy of the document in the other app. so, for example, if you chose to share the document to Pages, it would make an editable copy of the document with the dot-Pages extension. Thus, you would not be specifically working in the same document as you had originally in the Files app. Not sure if this will be improved upon in future updates to the Files app, but that's the best I can suggest for now.
