Lol, I doubt the people at Apple are so cynical about blindness. It probably has to do with the amount of work involved in possibly re writing such an app from the ground up to be accessible. Don't get me wrong, I'm not making excuses for them, I'm just saying I think their reasons are probably a little more practical. :)
