Hey Eric I hope that you are right, as I would love for all the messages I
deleted to reappear. All of this happened because of all the issues I was
having with gmail and the all mail folder having so much crap in it that I
delete but having a sighted person help me permanently delete things on the web
interface is what did it. Funny as even though he could see he still had a
tough time finding where to select everything and get it deleted but it is
definitely gone as I have checked two computers and two iPhones and all the
years of saved messages are gone, and I have to believe that these were
messages I sent myself that deleting the sent mail folder is what deleted them
meaning labeling something does absolutely nothing except putting in to a
labeled folder, but I guess the message is still viewed a sa sent message
therefore I assume that is why it was deleted. It amazes me all the junk that
is still in the all mail folder which should have been in my trash and been
deleted when I deleted permanently all the trash but it is still appearing in
the all mail folder, but the important stuff is all gone. This will probably be
my final step with gmail as losing the info I did if I can't get it back from
Time Machine will make me switch to me.com so either way the frustration and a
lot of work still ahead of me and all because Mavericks dones't work with
gmail yet in December Apple claimed they fixed everything leading me to upgrade
to Mavericks to only have Apple finally admit that no a lot of issues weren't
fixed. So my feeling is not a good one with apple right and even worst for
google
