So we tried your suggestions but this still doesn't seem to work to do
any of the commands I mentioned. We have it set to laptop layout for the
keyboard but when we do the keys jaws says is for jaws cursor, pc cursor,
etc. none of them seem to work. My wife has also tried turning on and off
the numpad commander to see if that made a difference and still nothing is
working.
If anyone has some experience with jaws on vm fusion that would be great
to tell us how we can fix this issue because right now we are getting to our
wits end trying to figure this out. My wife needs these things obviously to
work otherwise the windows experience isn't very doable to say the least.

Change the keyboard layout in JAWS to lap top. Then you won't need the
numpad keys. I don't think there's really a practical way to get them
working.
In the lap top layout there are alternatives for all of those key
combinations and they will work with the remapped caps lock key.

programs installed and got the caps lock key working for us as the insert
key. However, the podcast didn't mention exactly how to make the numpad
happen and when I try what it said on the page for using a numpad by

I did this last week. The KeyRing app is at the link you visited. I
believe there's a link called Other apps or something to that effect
and you'll find the PC Keyboard hack there. It's not on the same page
as it was when the podcast was developed and I had to look around for
it. After you have them, the podcast is very descriptive about what to
do. The hardest part was finding that second app but after that the
instructions will all work as advertised.
Oh, there was one other difference. If you're running Mavricks, you
are instructed to go to apple preferences and make some changes. The
newly installed apps didn't appear in my apple preferences, but
opening each of them revealed the same options he was describing and
everything worked as advertised.
I don't want to go through the tutorial again, he did a great job, but
after you find them, if there's something specific, I'm sure we can
help.
As I said, finding that second app isn't quite where he said now, but
it's still up there and you need them both for this to work.

installation instructions are pretty confusing so hoping someone can give
us
some advice on how to better understand what we need to do.
