Thanks Igor,

I also thoght somewhere along those lines, but - is there a way to prevent
it? Is there a way to lock the power button?

I am pretty sure it's not in R&D mode - how do I make sure?

Thanks again,

Amichai

you might want to check that you don't have it in R&D mode and also
something that has already me already: if you keep it in your bag, with
screen and buttons locked it's likely that the power button will be
pressed several times while you carry your bag around.
Even if not in r&d mode, this still generates wakeups and therefore
consumes power.

Of course it takes either some very bad luck or significant skills to
reproduce it sistematically, but it's worth checking it
