While IPv6 is not perfect, it is less bad than keeping IPv4 alive. IPv4
addresses were exhausted over ten years ago in some registries. It's
time to move on. Eventually even email will have to start running over
IPv6.
[I also consider IPv6 to be a better protocol, but that discussion isn't
worth having again, certainly not on this mailing list.]
