I think so, because I use the same smtp server address, username and 
password in other applications, such as Thunderbird, and all works fine.

I did a test disabling all mantis users, except the admin user and my 
own, and made some changes logged as admin. So the only user to be 
notified by e-mail was me. Even in this scenario the error 
("recipient_failed") still occurs.

I'll continue investigating and will post here any news about this problem.
