Thanks again for your help.

In php.ini no changes were done to the default values of the SMTP settings:

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = localhost
smtp_port = 25

But as far as I know PHPMailer doesn't use the php.ini settings. Or am I 
missing something?
