To put it simply,
I believe it is a book that deserves to be purchased
(price 29.000 italian lire).
I am not an expert in the subject,
but I have bought the book
since I've been studying the fortune of another myth in European Literature.
It deals mainly with Italian, English & Spanish literatures
but other works are also mentioned
and covers almost all periods (especially the 16th & 17th centuries).
You can find in it even Karen Horney & Helen Cixous (briefly).
Plus plates & a VERY impressive bibliography.
I suppose you can order it at
http://www.internetbookshop.it/
or
http://www.guida.it/
I hope it is of help.
