Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html
I don't have additional sites, but lately I have been checkout mapping
sites - these seem to perform very well. The Mapt 4.2 for the web is pretty
straightforward although we have not implemented anything to a live site
yet. That's coming.
I have looked a lot of MapObjects and MapXtreme sites and none of them are
anywhere near as fast with about the same level of complexity and
information being displayed (as I perceive it anyway ...) Also they are more
expensive.
I really wonder about the future of server-side GIS for the internet (vs
intranet) The data pipe will never grow at a rate to match the number of
bits that want to go down it - seems something on or more on the client side
would be useful using, say using SVG (scaleable vector graphic technology)

Subject: [Maptitude] MTFW applications?
Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html
Hi -
Does anyone know of any MTFW applications besides those shown
at http://www.caliper.com/ovuwebpg.htm ?
I know of one additional website: HUD E-maps,
http://www.hud.gov/emaps/emapsintro.html
Also, the last application, Detroit Bus Route Finder, does not seem
to work when I look at it with Netscape.
Any info appreciated.
Mike
